science

connect-science is all around connected to each other when it comes to anything of nature to the human society itself. science is fun and very life changing but there are some things that you don't really like to know but science teaches you anyway. extend- science really extends my thinking for the better and worse, but mostly better. i would be thinking about "how high would i have to jump if i wanted to do 5 skips while jump roping?" and others. it really made me think the craziest things that i'd probably might never be able to do but sounded cool. challenge- it really made me think but at the same time science can be confusing with the so called "language of science" like velocity and others. i may not know a lot of the science of the world its good to know some that are cool.

social studies

connect- sometimes in social studies there are certain objects and old language used when talking about cultures from the past. Remembering words from the past and ways they lived is either still the same or significantly different! extend- social studies always makes me question about things from the past like when, where, why, who and how. it always amazes me that things that were considered small are big problems if they were to happen today. challenge- i always have a challenge when it comes to remembering important dates of the past and where they took place, i'm not very good at geography and since social studies is within that i have a bit of a hard time.

math

connect- they all connect together as critical thinking is a major thing in math, some things you just need to know at the top of your head to understand the question. Other questions require more thought than others and sometimes questions don't make sense, but in the end they always have an answer. extend- math extended my thinking by making me think of every possible question that honestly makes it harder than it should be. math is not the easiest and I know a lot of people who struggle yet i can't stop over thinking the questions. challenge- the challenge with math isn't even the math it's the way math is displayed in word form with variables and trying to turn numbers into fractions, decimals and so on.

ela

connection- They all have to do with creativity and imagination, i had to think deeply about what to come up with off the top of my head. When it come to writing stories or something just from scratch in my head I have to visualize, think, and get second opinions. extend- it extended my thinking because writing is what i make it to be, not others. I write or draw my own thoughts i have and display them as i know it was me who made it my own work. challenge- challenges i face when it comes to writing or drawing is that, my brain doesn't always know what it is I can write or draw. It takes time and thought to come up with a subject to draw or write. There's always limits to what i can write but soon give up if it doesn't come out right. Time is always a struggle when it comes to anything that you have to imagine first.
